Management in the delivery sector
The workshop is aimed at people professionally involved in piglet production
- herd owners, farrowing sector managers, managers,
foremen, veterinarians and advisors.
When?
The training will take place on 13 January 2025 in Poznań from 10:00 - 16:00. Exact information will be sent to participants prior to the event.
Training programme:
- Optimal use of animal potential through proper care of the sow and piglets
- Organization of work in the farrowing sector and the specifics of work in multicultural teams
- Welfare conditions and the impact of this factor on production results and production organization – based on new trends and legislative requirements in the EU
- Correlation of antibiotic use in relation to increasing production results and control of antibiotic consumption in daily work
- Supporting piglet health through the use of a refractometer and assessment of the quality of colostrum and milk production of sows
- Many other practical aspects regarding production management
SPEAKERS

Karina Mikkelsen
For 26 years she has been involved in the management of maternity sectors. She is one of the best, if not the best expert in this area of production.
She sets up production not only in Denmark, but also in 13 other countries, including China.
She employs 6 people.
She owes her reputation primarily to the fact that she is focused on the efficiency
of her activities. She is very effective in improving production results. Her clients
achieve record production results (even 43.3 P/S/Y).
